In the 10th grade you should be preparing for the ACT/SAT exm. Remember, it is critical that you take the PSAT. Taking the PSAT will help you build your confidence and test taking skills. The PSAT is offered twice in the month of October and is the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship.
You participation on extracurricular activities lest the school know a little bit more about you! It will demonstrate you leadership abilities and willingness to work as a team member. It will also show school faculty that you can effectively manage your time. Additionally, your participation in school activities will increase your social circle of influence, which will be helpful to you during your college years and when you begin your career.

Reasons to Attend a Two Year College
Attending a two year College is a viable option for the student who may not be financially prepared to attend a four year College or University. This is also a good option for a student who has challenges to overcome regarding high school achievement. Attending a two year college will allow them time to work toward attending a four year school. Additionally, the student wanting to take vocational classes may find enrollment in a two year school favorable. There are many other reasons for attending a two year school, but these three represent the majority of situations that warrant a decision for attending a two year college.
Reasons to Attend a Four Year College
Graduating from a four Year College with your Bachelor’s Degree will open up many career paths for you. You also will have more schools to choose from and therefore broadening your horizons. Another reason to go to a four Year College/University is because there are many more scholarships and grants are offered to students who attend four year college programs.
